I'm having problems nntpxmit-ing news to a Masscomp machine. (We're both running nntp 1.5, I'm on a VAX running Ultrix 1.2). This problem occurs when the target machine has already seen some of the articles I have (e.g., it's gotten them from another host). After this machine reaches the 36th rejection, when my system asks about the next article, it sends back 436 Cannot create temporary file. and my nntpxmit quits. The problem is not with the number of IHAVE's sent, or the number of articles accepted, it's the number of rejections, and always 36. (There can be several articles accepted in between the rejections, but as soon as 36 is reached, that's it.) Anyone seen this before?
