I've installed nntp as a client on this machine but I cannot get our domain name appended to the nodename. Looking at inews.c seems to indicate that if DOMAIN is defined, it will be appended to the nodename. Well, DOMAIN is defined in common/conf.f as "bnl.gov" but as anyone can see from the From: Path: and Reply-To: lines in the header, the domain name is not being appended. Has anyone had similar problems? Please do not use the "reply" option to reply, since the Reply-To address is incomplete.
