I have installed/fixed all the problems reported to date. Unless something happens to delay it, path 5 to NNTP will post on June 5th. Changes include the following: Bug fix to server.c which allows TIMEOUT to be included correctly. [ marcl@vax.SPD.3Com.COM (Marc Lavine) ] Bug fix to mkgrdates. [ Tom Kloos <tomk%leia.wv.tek.com@RELAY.CS.NET>] Conf.h altered to properly set READ_SUPER on BSD 4.3 systems. [grandi@noao.edu] Bug fix to newnews.c to support GMT time stamps in 2.11 history file correctly.[Tom.Lane@ZOG.CS.CMU.EDU] Speed up to newnews.c to keep from chewing up so much CPU time. [ Rein Tollevik <rein@ifi.uio.no> ] More documentation fixes. [sob@bcm.tmc.edu] For those of you on BSD 4.3 who need space() to work on your systems NOW, add a -DREAD_SUPER to the CFLAGS line in the Makefile in the server subdirectory. That should jury-rig it for the time being. I am expecting a couple more bug fixes real soon now that will be added as well that deal with load control and such. Hopefully that will integrate painlessly and will make it out with this patch. I verify these on a Sun running SunOS 4.0, an NCR Tower running System V and a Vax running Ultrix 2.2 before I ship. If I had a BSD 4.3 to test on, I'd test it there, but I don't. Sigh.
