Just to repeat a question always asked when some software is announced available via anon. ftp: How can I get this software (nntp 1.5.8 in this case) if I don't have access to the Internet, i.e. if all I can do is send and receive UUCP mail? Is there such a thing as a mail server for the nntp stuff? Thanks for informatove answers. There is a mail server for the patches. You need to get the base software somehow and then you can get the patch kits from archive-server@bcm.tmc.edu. -- Stan internet: sob@bcm.tmc.edu Director, Networking Olan uucp: {rutgers, mailrus}!bcm!sob and Systems Support Barber Opinions expressed are only mine. osu-cis always has the latest news (B, C, and TMNN) and NNTP
