I'm helping the administrator of an internet site that is still getting its news by UUCP. They aren't very sophisticated about news, and didn't know there was another way. I'm not much better. I knew there was nntp, but not much about how it works (lives on top of x.25? TCP/IP?) or how many nntp sites there are, or how easy/hard it is to get a feed. I would appreciate some help in getting started. Probably first thing is some general information like the above about the world of nntp. Even better would be the offer of an nntp feed.
