#N:cmcl2:8200001:000:382 cmcl2!tihor Dec 1 19:45:00 1982 I just got another burst of rmgroup messages mostly from alice!news. I rechecked the discussions in net.news.group, etc. and could find no particular consensus to delete any specific set of groups. Further these messages refered in passing to some groups which I could have sworn I saw deleted last week AND the week before AND .... Could someone send me a brief explaination?

A couple weeks ago, I sent out a blast of rmgroup's for the net.bugs.columbia, net.bugs.cse, etc. thing. Also for net.joke. Apparently, these having been looping around the network. Brad Templeton, I believe, also complained of getting them twice. I also got about three notices of each one from other sites that I maintain news on. In short, I only sent them out once when the groups appeared, but they have gone around many times.
