Here are the two answers I got. I was asking for an IBM terminal emulator running on an IBM-PC running Xenix. The solution was found here in France. Thanks again. ********************************* Rabbit Software's 3270-PLUS is available for XENIX in both SNA and BSC. This emulates the 3274 (or 3276) controller as well as up to 8 3278/3279 terminal sessions and printers. All kinds of neat features like on-line Help, screen browsing, screen to printer, screen to file, output to file for later playback, and printer output to file, spooler, or physical printer are included. The SNA version can be run concurrently with RJE and LU6.2. Truly a wonderful product. Basically if you have the PC on an Ethernet system you can use tn3270 to access an IBM mainframe that's on the same ethernet. Dick Cogger at Cornell University (RHX@CORNELLC.BITNET (or maybe it's CORNELLA) or try RHX%CORNELLC@vax2.ccs.cornell.edu for Internet) has been working converting TN3270 to IBM PC's and MacIntoshes. I'm not sure whether he has released the code for this yet or not. TN3270 was origianlly written at MIT (?) for use between a Unix machine and an IBM. This solution may require more of a setup than you can provide, since it requires some sort of TCP/IP on the IBM mainframe. Dick Cogger may be able to suggest other alternatives. -Anne Louise Gockel Software Support -- Jean-Pierre Schiltz - Cap Sogeti Innovation - Centre de Recherche de Paris 118 rue de Tocqueville - 75017 PARIS - France - +33 (1) 46 22 60 27 #232 schiltz@csinn.uucp | ...uunet!mcvax!inria!imag!csinn!magic!schiltz
