plocher@uwspan.UUCP (John Plocher) (12/31/87)
I'm just about ready to buy a Microsoft Mach 20 board (8MHz 80286 board
with floppy disk controller [which I really need due to lack of slots] and
a mouse interface) as a stopgap until I can afford to buy a 386 box (maybe
sometime in Summer 88). Has anyone tried to run either Microport V/286 or
SCO Xenix on a Mach-20 equipped PC? I have a very slow (80msec) 30M hard
disk on my PC, but I think I could live with that until I get a 386 box
with a fast hard disk.
Any information you could provide me will be appreciated...todd
