[comp.unix.microport] Porting Drivers from SCO Xenix/286 2.1.3 to uPort SysV/AT

egsneb@killer.UUCP (Eric Schnoebelen) (04/17/88)

Hello NetLand!

I am attempting to port a device driver for a nine track tape drive
from SCO Xenix 2.1.3 for the IBM PC/AT to Microport's System V/AT for the
same system.

I need either a pointer to good descriptions of the kernal functions
for both of these systems, or, less optimally, for someone to send me such
information. I don't have access to an SCO Xenix machine, and the docs for
the kernal functions in the Microport manuals don't really help much.

	Any information would be appreicated.

		Thanks in Advance

F.Y.I. The driver I am porting is IDT's driver for their LEO tape coupler
card. Does anyone have a copy of the mt.h file? The source disk they sent
me didn't have it.

Disclaimer: I don't represent my company, they don't even know I have unix
somewhere.. I barely represent myself.
