I have written a program which runs as a background process for
a login shell, reading a fifo for information which to print on the 25th
status line available with the new ansi driver in Sys5 V2.3 uport. The
info written to the fifo is printed after a time and date field (which can
of course be disabled) and all the fields can be individually set to
different colors and attributes. I've been using it for over a month now
to display my current and last directory, and it works well.
This posting is an offer to distribute the sources to the net.
If enough (how many is enough, anyway? :-) request it, I will post them.
Otherwise after about a week I will mail them to any who do want them.
