One addictive, really nice thing about Microport System V/AT is its *virtual consoles* which allow one to have several (up to ten if one does a little munging) terminal sessions going at once from the console. I'm in the process of converting to the 386 and I'm concerned that some of these 386 Unix ports don't have virtual consoles. While I don't think it'd be brutally difficult to write, and it's the sort of thing I like to do, I have nonetheless over the years learned to not run off and do stuff like that and without asking around as to what Unix systems support it and, for any that do not, if anyone else is already working on it. How about it? Send me mail and I'll summarize if interest warrants. -- -- uunet!sugar!karl
