I am also having problems with a 2400 internal modem running uport 386. I have run ttypatch and set it to COM1 & tty00. getty does not complain but that's all it does -- cu and friends do not know about the modem. Luckly, kermit knows how to find it way and that's how I am posting this now. Any help will be appreciated. --Marcio carvalho@ernie.berkeley.edu ....!ucbvax!ernie!carvalho PS: uport 386 version 2.2, Everex 386/20 with 2meg and 2400 bps Everex internal modem. =--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--= = Marcio de Carvalho = = ...!ucbvax!ernie!carvalho IEOR Department = = carvalho@ernie.berkeley.edu University of California at Berkeley =

Installation goes fine; however, it does not seem to want to do baud switching on incoming calls. -- Wain Dobson uucp: {backbone}!ubc-cs!fornax!syssol!seacbc!wain
