beattie@visenix.UUCP (Brian Beattie) (08/25/88)

I have a friend who is trying to install an everex 2400
buad internal modem under sys V/AT. Has anyone gotten this
configuration to work? (I think it is tty1).

any help would be apperciated.

	I am also having problems with a 2400 internal modem running
uport 386. I have run ttypatch and set it to COM1 & tty00. getty
does not complain but that's all it does -- cu and friends do not
know about the modem.
	Luckly, kermit knows how to find it way and that's how I am
posting this now.
	Any help will be appreciated.

Have had a problem with the Everex, as well. Installation goes fine;
however, it does not seem to want to do baud switching on incoming
calls.
