I'm sure people are tired of this, but I couldn't find anything in my archives (4 whole days), so... What can anyone tell me about X on the 286 and 386 UNIX and XENIX systems (Microport and SCO especially)? I'm intersted in the status of any commercial and PD efforts. What is the availability hardware, etc.? Anything you can tell me will be appreciated. I'm also interested in feedback as to estimates of bringing up X on some custom 200 DPI/graphics engine hardware. Anybody have any input on how much work is required to get a new implementation of X running on new hardware? Please email info. Thanks very much in advance. -- David Beckemeyer | "To understand ranch lingo all yuh Beckemeyer Development Tools | have to do is to know in advance what 478 Santa Clara Ave, Oakland, CA 94610 | the other feller means an' then pay UUCP: ...!ihnp4!hoptoad!bdt!david | no attention to what he says"
