Let's have a newsgroup for original jokes only. Too many people spend too much time typing jokes that they have heard from others or read in books etc. This is boring, because most of us have heard them all. How about a group for original jokes (net.jokes.original) so that we can avoid all the crap that others put out?

Balderdash.... I think that a joke becomes 'old' because it is a good joke. I would rather hear an old joke than trust one that some hacker thought up... As an example, did anybody see a Tylenol joke (all presumably original) that they thought was funny? Not me.... Glenn Reid
