Are there any decent 386 Pascal compilers available for Microport Unix?
I have just ordered uPort SysV/386 for a system I am upgrading to an 80386.
Someone at MicroPort told me about a compiler called LPI Pascal, and I have
got literature from LPI. I seem to recall having heard that Green Hills
also has a Pascal compiler but I know nothing else about it.
Does anyone have any experience with any Pascal compiler(s) for MicroPort
SysV/386 that they could share with me (e-mail addresses below)?
PLEASE: Pascal versus C flames to /dev/null --I have a reason for
specifically wanting Pascal. Thanks in advance. Will summarize rresponses.

I am using metaware's pascal with good results. Optimizations are good, it interfaces cleanly to C, and has a lot of Ada - like extensions that make for good systems programming. The cost is a little high ($800), but I feel worth it. Eric Beser Advanced Technology Coordinator
