I am having a problem getting a tty port to work properly. I am using an IBM PC Com port (as com2), and the baud rate is set to come up at 9600. I am using /dev/ttyM01. When the modem is answered the first time, there is no response to action by the user. It is as if the port is dead. When the user calls back immediately, the port works normally. It is as if the first respawn does not work, but the second one does. I am using a trailblazer modem, which is set to reset to 9600 baud whenever the DTR is dropped. This is done at the end of each call. Anyone out there who can help? Eric Beser w - 301 - 765 - 1360
