[comp.unix.microport] Bell Tech ethernet under SNAP and TCP/IP

karl@sugar.uu.net (Karl Lehenbauer) (11/13/88)

I've got a Bell Tech ethernet board and am running RFS between two
machines. I also have the Streamlined TCP disk and am wondering
if these two things (SNAP RFS and TCP/IP) can co-reside. Does
RFS use TCP/IP? If so, it apparently doesn't make use of /etc/hosts,
/etc/networks, etc. I didn't see anything about this in the docs.
