# I was at W/W Component Supply in San Jose (phone 408-295-7171) last Saturday, and they had about 300 Televideo 806 boards. $25 as is (about 70% of them work), $75 guaranteed. $10 for a manual. Here's the catch - the expensive chips have been removed. You'll need a Z-80, 64K RAMs, DMA, floppy controller (WD 2793?), Zilog SIOs, and probably a few others I've forgotten. It does not come with boot prom either, but that is available for $65 elsewhere. Here's what it is: 64K, Z-80 based SBC, 2-RS232 connectors, 1-RS422, 5 extra RS422, 5 1/4" floppy controller, SASI interface, printer interface. It is designed for networking (hence all the RS422). The reason Televideo dumped them: ostensibly because they upgraded the floppy disk controller section.
