I'm sure this has been answered before, but I wasn't paying attention... We need advice on smart serial boards that work with 386/ix. Horror stories and success stories are appreciated, as well as any hard facts on performance, compatibility, etc. We anticipate a need for at least 32 ports, and possibly 48 or 64 ports. The ports will support terminals. Most of the traffic will be output, probably at 9600 but maybe at 19.2. Input will be from hunk-and-peck typists. We are interested in 8 or 16 port boards, AT bus. We will be needing quantities in the several thousands per year. Mail to me and I'll summarize... -Rick -- Rick Richardson | JetRoff "di"-troff to LaserJet Postprocessor|uunet!pcrat!dry2 PC Research,Inc.| Mail: uunet!pcrat!jetroff; For anon uucp do:|for Dhrystone 2 uunet!pcrat!rick| uucp jetroff!~jetuucp/file_list ~nuucp/. |submission forms. jetroff Wk2200-0300,Sa,Su ACU {2400,PEP} 12013898963 "" \d\r\d ogin: jetuucp
