Although Xenix may have been used to control an experiment or something,
and NASA and contractors may use Xenix in support of certain Space Shuttle
activities, I assure you that the four onboard IBM AP-101 computers that 
control the shuttle's flight do not run Xenix or Unix nor are they 386es.
