This is a plea for '386 unix vendors to allocate memory for buffers and kernel space starting from the highest addresses. It will really help some of us who have some 16 bit memory. In the mean time, does anyone have a work-around - perhaps a patch for the disk buffer allocation module. -- Jon Zeeff zeeff@b-tech.ann-arbor.mi.us Support ISO 8859/1 zeeff%b-tech.uucp@umix.cc.umich.edu Ann Arbor, MI umix!b-tech!zeeff
