[comp.unix.microport] 286 binaries on V/386

john@wa3wbu.UUCP (John Gayman) (12/30/88)

Forgive me if this is a "dumb" question but........ I've just gotta
ask it.... Can you in any way, compile source code on say, V/386
so that the binary is executable on a 286 running V/AT ? Apparently
the 386 has no trouble running V/AT binaries as I'm using several
  of them.

On another note, what version of DWB is included with V/386 3.0e ?
  1.0 or 2.0 ?? Thanks much!

Take your C compiler from the 286 and run it on the 386.
