I suspect this has been asked and answered numerous times, but until uport sends out newsletters to registered users, how else to find things out? Does Microport support VGA's? I remember hearing somewhere that they had no plans to, but I found that hard to believe and still do, what with IBM no longer making EGA's. Seems too short sighted for a smart company. Indeed if they plan on letting anyone ever do an X windows platform on it, EGA resolution would be awful (yes, I know "standard" VGA isn't much better, but my point stands). I LOVE my Orchid ProDesigner Plus, and can't stand the thought of having to part with it because my Microport can't (won't?) deal with it.
