#N:pur-phy:8900001:000:571 pur-phy!crl Dec 11 11:28:00 1982 Having notesfiles here, we are able to detect the creation of new newsgroups very easily. The reason I say this is that a new group was created last night that I think no B news user can see. It is called, of all things, "net.all" and was created by a site named wb2. Before anyone quickly rushes to the keyboard and submits a netwide rmgrp, what would a "rmgrp net.all" do, remove net.*? I don't feel like looking through the source, so I'll just remove it locally. I just thought everyone would like to know. Charles LaBrec pur-ee!physics:crl purdue!physics:crl

A rmgroup control message for net.all will NOT remove net.all the subnet but rather net.all the single newsgroup. Therefore, I have just sent one out for it (of course!)
