99'er, now HOME COMPUTER MAGAZINE, is on the racks in the mall type bookstores such as Daltons and Waldenbooks, and some of the computer stores (Software City etc). I saw it on Wed(3/7/84). There is no comparison with COMPUTE as someone suggested. There are many more articles, and not only games, in HCM. There are also plenty of adds for 99 software and hardware. There is almost none in COMPUTE. The articles in COMPUTE, usually 2 on the average, games and one or two tutorial type articles and a game review. I get COMPUTE when there is something of interest. I subscribe to HCM (over a year now), and am pleased with the content. It is written for the home user, not he prof. Most anyone can understand it. This their stated policy. The new version include the C64 and VIC, the PCjr and the Apple II. No Atari ore TRS80. If they do continue with this format, providing info for the 99 in the present (or more) quantity, then it is the best one for the 994a owners.

I did not compare HOME COMPUTER MAGAZINE to COMPUTE! I only made the point that COMPUTE! does translate some of their programs for the TI 99/4A, something that few other magazines do.
