Some excerpts from Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary: steal vt: 1a: to take or appropriate without right or leave and with intent to keep or make use of wrongfully. appropriate: vt: 3: to take or make use of without authority or right. Note that removal of property is not necessary for stealing to take place; removal is merely one of the possibilities, according to Webster's. I recognize that this does not have the force of law, but as it has already been pointed out, the law on one hand, and morality and ethics on the other, are not always in agreement. -- Clay Phipps -- {cbosgd decvax!decwrl!amd70 harpo hplabs!hpda ihnp4 sri-unix ucbvax!amd70} !fortune!phipps
