I am having difficulty getting xon/xoff passed and honored by uugetty on this 3B1. I am running HDB uucp from The Store, and have positively identified the problem as dealing with the uugetty on the dialin/dialout port. When the remote is cabled directly to the port, and standard getty is running, xon/xoff works just fine. However when the remote is cabled directly or thru a modem, xon/xoff is passed to the computer but transmission does not halt. We therefore have great quantities of buffer overrun making the dialup almost unusable. I understand from rumors that this problem has been addressed on the net before, and if so, please forgive my recent questions. However, rumors have not provided the solution yet, so any fixes are still needed. ========================================================================== James A.
