Greetings from the Rosenthal Lab! We are glad to be members of Bionet and have already taken advantage of contributed software by getting Seqaid. We are a small group at Boston University actively involved in the study of enhancer function and related topics in gene transcription. We will have a paper coming out in the December issue of Genes and Development (Donoghue et al) which we hope you will all read. Our particular interest concerns the mechanism of action of the myosin light chain 1/3 gene enhancer. Many of our group are new at the use of computers so this should be an interesting experience.
