The scoop that we have heard is the Cetus's legal department has put the clamps on Molecular Resources and NEB. This is a powerful reagent in the primer chain amplification technique, but it is killing our experiments to run into this difficulty in obtaining more of this polymerase. Is someone out there making any? Does anyone know of any alternate polymerase? And finally, is anyone else having problems getting TAQ polymerase.
