[bionet.molbio.methds-reagnts] Scientific Applications of LOTUS 123

Is anyone aware of a book/guide/manual that deals specifically with the use
of LOTUS 1-2-3 in science applications? Virtually everything I've seen is
business or finance oriented. Even then, use of LOTUS' statistical and
plotting utilities is not clearly addressed. Any ideas?

Lotus publishes a magazine called (amazingly enough) Lotus that has
had several articles involving scientific applications of 1-2-3. The
March 1986 issue in particular had this as its cover story. I'm sure
if you called Lotus customer support they may be able to give you
further references.

Lotus also sells a product called 'MEASURE'. This is a data collection module
that sits on top of 123. MEASURE supports various types of boards - the IBM	IEEE-488 interface and at least one of the METRABYTE analog boards come to
mind. I haven't used this product myself, but one of the people in my group
has a copy.

The point of this rambling is that you should probably call Lotus directly. If
they sell a scientific package, then they'll probably have supporting manuals
or be able to recommend some.
