In reply to the query from Bob Ludwig, we had problems with Boehringer's CIP about 18 months ago. It was low in activity and contained exonuclease activity. Subsequently we obtained further supplies from them which were OK, but it looks as though their troubles are recurring. We found that CIP from Cambio, 34 Millington Road, Cambridge CB3 9HP, was of good quality and high activity. I do not know whether Cambio have a North American agent. Note, I have no commercial interest in Cambio!
