A friend of mine makes lectine colourings to detect terminal
carbohydrates in 4-micrometer cuts of cancer tissue. She is wondering
which `glue' to use to bond the cuts to the slides so that the glue
affects the results as little as possible (currently she is using a
mixture of egg white and glycerine).
