We're contemplating the purchase of some Gavilan computers for
evaluation as portable ("notebook") computers for some folks around
here. Anyone have any experience, comments, warnings, praise or kinky
undergarments for the Gavilan? I'd also be interested in any specific
comments you may have on other notebook computers. The key criteria is
a minimum of 8 line by 80 column display, plus reasonable operating
system, programmability, and communications support.
