Ted gave a talk here 17 August, and I picked up some of the literature.
``Xanadu/Server(tm) System Overview'' (draft revision 1.0 B4, June 5,1990)
is 39 pages long, but several sections are still missing. Describes the
abstractions in the Xanadu(tm) view and some of the objects (documents, links,
sensors; manipulators: hands, waldoes; permissions systems: clubs).
Also, check out Literary Machines, version 87.1 or greater, for the generalest
overview. Tumblers, humbers, front-ends/back-ends, silverstands, ...
Another document similar to the X/SSO
(salesman version (``A New Way of Organizing and Accessing Information'')
and other buzz phrases
(``More hype!'' ``Less information!'' ``More hype!''))
tastes great but is less filling, YET
