I have a Sage II, a MC68000 based machine that I would like to add a hard disk to. Since the Sage has a very poor system bus, I would like to find a hard disk to interface to its GPIB (IEEE-488) bus. Does anyone know of some potential suppliers and possibly some figures (cost, size, access time) on 488 ported disks? I really would like about 20 - 40MB. Thanks, Bill Guinn cbneb!wdg

Hewlett-Packard has a line of GPIB (HPIB) hard disks from 10 to 400Mbyte's. They tend to be expensive. There is a company in the south Bay Area that second sources them, but I don't have the name handy.
