I am looking for a sweet and sour shrimp recipe that I found twenty years ago in a small paperback Chinese cookbook. All I remember about the recipe was the shrimp was fried in a beer batter and the sauce used chunks of pineapple . . . in other words not much. I do remember that the stuff was wonderful. Can any one help with something similar?
