[from the Wine Spectator, June 30, 1990] Celery Root and Grape Salad 1 whole celery root 1 cup green seedless grapes 3 tbsp. sweet Muscat wine 1 cup red seedless grapes 1 whole grapefruit 2/3 cup mayonnaise 2 heads butter or limestone lettuce Cut away outer parts of celery root. Grate coarsely the white interior and place in bowl. Lightly salt and pepper. Add wine. Cut each grape in half and add to bowl. Peel and section grapefruit, and add to bowl. Add mayonnaise and toss well. Serve on lettuce. Serves 6.
