Several Veitnamese restuarants in the DC area serve a chicken salad or meat eaters salad called something like goi ga. The best I can remember, it is composed of shredded carrots and cabbage, with bits of ginger and peanuts, and of course chicken. The most notable thing about the salad is the tangy dressing which doesn,t seem to contain vinegar or lemon, but seems have the taste of corriander and/or pepper. Since I no longer live near these restuarants, I would love to find a recipe for this tasty salad. I have looked in countless Vietnamese cookbooks without success. Thanks in advance.
