Coffee Torte 8 eggs 140 gr castor sugar vanilla 1 tbl spoon finely ground coffee (instant may be used) 140 gr hazelnuts Roast hazelnuts in oven, rub the skin off and ground finely. Cream egg yolks and sugar. Add coffee, hazelnuts and vanilla. Fold in beaten egg whites. Bake in moderate oven on two trays for 20 minutes. Filling: 250 gr sugar 3 egg yolks 250 gr unsalted butter strong black coffee Wet sugar with strong coffee. Boil till thick syrup. Beat egg yolks, mix with syrup and beat until cool.
