Well my chili request was so successful, let's try my other favorite food: OATMEAL! Now, I just made the oatmeal cookie recipe on the back of the Quaker box and I wasn't terribly happy about it. I'm a *BIG* fan of Entenmann's oatmeal cookies, David's oatmeal cookies (in NYC) and even Duncan Hines soft oatmeal cookies. Does anyone have any recipes that come close to these brands? (No flame wars here, but which is more appropriate..quick oats or the other version?...I used quick oats). In terms of a "light" version of an oatmeal cookie, I was very impressed recently by Entenmann's new cholesterol and fat free oatmeal cookies. Does anyone have a similar "light" recipe for oatmeal cookies. But its not just cookies I want...ANY 'relatively' simple breakfast or snack food oatmeal recipe would be appreciated!
