>Does anyone have a recipe for a very cheesy lasagna with meat, but very >little or no onion and mushroom. Below you'll find my mom's recipe, which contains NO onions and NO mushrooms. Very easy to make, and my husband asks me to make it at least twice a week. Lasagna --------- Meat mixture: 1 lb. ground beef (browned) 1 Tbsp. salad oil 1 clove garlic, minced 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes 1 Tbsp. oregano 2 small cans tomato paste 2 small cans tomato sauce Cheese mixture: 1 24 oz. cottage (or ricotta) cheese 2 beaten eggs 2 tsp. salt (I usually omit this) 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (fresh parmesan cheese is best) 1 pkg. lasagna noodles, cooked Sliced mozzarella cheese Put half of cooked noodles in greased casserole dish (although I use a greased 13x9x2 pan). Spread half of cottage cheese mixture over it. Add half of mozzarella cheese. Add half of meat sauce mix. Repeat. Bake 375 degrees, for 30 minutes. Serves 12. -Cory
