[net.micro] Wanted: SSE Hard Box Info.

wkb@cbscc.UUCP (Keith Brummett) (05/02/84)

   Greetings;
	A friend of mine recently bought a beast called the Hard Box
   by Small Systems Engineering. It's an interface between the
   IEEE/488 bus and a Corvus Hard Disk unit. Unfortunately, because
   he bought it at the '84 Dayton Hamvention (Dayton, Ohio), it came
   "as is" and with no documentation. SSE used to carry ads in
   COMPUTE! that gave a phone number and address in Palo Alto, CA,
   but my friend has had no luck in contacting them there. Which
   brings us to the point of this article:

	1.) Does anyone know if Small Systems Engineering is still
	    in business ?

	2.) If they are, where are they ? Anyone seen a recent ad ?

 	3.) If not, does anyone have any information or documentation
	    on the Hard Box ?

   My friend is willing to pay any reasonable costs for reproduction
   and transportation of documentation. As he is at a university
   that doesn't have the net up and running yet, I guess any communi-
   cation will have to go through me. Many thanks, in advance.
