I have got myself into a tricky situation... It started about a month ago when I was dinning at little greek place for a friends birthday. The wine was flowing freely but soon I was in an argument with a friend over who could cook the best scones. She was very adamant that she could whip me and suggested that we have a bake off judged by friend of ours. I had completely forgotten this and then she rings me up last night and made the date : THIS SATURDAY! So please if anyone could help me, i've cooked plain scones before and they are avg. but i'd like something or some process that is fool proof and will win me the bake off. HELP!
