3 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups crisco
7 eggs
3 cups plain flour
1 oz red food coloring
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp salt

Bake in tube pan at 325F for 1 1/2 hours.

Frosting:

1 stick butter
3 oz cream cheese (softened)
1 box powdered sugar
3 Tbsp milk
1 t vanilla
dash salt
