BRANDIED PEACH SOUP

29-oz can peach halves 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/8 tsp white pepper
1 cup dry, sweet white wine 2 Tbsps cornstarch 1/2 cup water
1 Tbsp brandy 1 Tbsps lemon juice 1/2 cup sour cream
Drain peaches, reserving 1 cup syrup. Puree. In a bowl, mix syrup,
puree, cinnamon, pepper and wine. Cover with plastic wrap; poke a
couple holes in plastic to vent. Microwave on high for 4 minutes.
Blend cornstarch with water in a small bowl. Whisk in peach mixture.
Cover. Microwave on high until boiling (4 minutes), stirring once.
Mix brandy, sour cream, lemon juice and whisk into the peach mixture.
Serve the soup either hot or cold. Serves 4.
