This is a really good summertime sauce, and can be refrigerated for a cold pasta salad. 5-6 Roma (plum, Italian) tomatoes 1/2 cup fresh basil 1/2 teaspoon salt 1-3 cloves garlic, to taste Core the tomatoes; place in blender or Cuisinart with basil and salt. Blend until combined. Pour over fresh cooked pasta. You can add parmesan cheese if desired.
