[unix-pc.sources] alias to reset window to normal

jimmy@denwa.uucp (Jim Gottlieb) (03/04/89)

This is just one of those things that's so handy that others may find
some use from it if they haven't invented their own.

Often, an application program leaves your window in an undesirable state
when exiting back to a shell. This alias just calls windy a few times,
calls stty with default options, and sends PC7300-specific escape codes
to the console to turn the cursor on, turn line wrap back on, and a few
other now-forgettable clean up nicities. Because it contains escape
codes, it is uuencoded.
