[bionet.general] 1988 BIONET Training Schedule

KRISTOFFERSON@BIONET-20.ARPA (01/01/88)

From: David Kristofferson <Kristofferson@BIONET-20.ARPA>

Dear BIONET users,

BIONET will be holding regular training classes at our facility in
Mountain View, California. The 1988 dates are:

February 4-5	March 17-18	May 19-20	July 14-15

             September 15-16 November 19-20

Each session will be LIMITED TO 12 PEOPLE on a first-come first-serve
basis, so please apply as soon as possible. Registration will be
handled by Kathryn Berg at BIONET. She may be reached by e-mail (To:
KBERG) or by phone at 415-962-7337 if you have questions.

The cost for the training is discounted to out-of-state residents and
is only $50 for the two-day session (lunch included both days). We
are keeping this price low to encourage people to make the trip to our
facility. Due to their lower travel costs, California residents will
be charged the full price of $100.

We are located in Mountain View at 700 E. El Camino Real (at the
intersection with Highway 85), just north of San Jose and south of San
Francisco. Both of these cities are served by major airports and are
within easy driving range of our location. San Jose has the closest
airport of the two cities.

Both the Brookside Inn and Ambassador Inn offer special rates to
BIONET/IntelliGenetics visitors and are within two blocks of our
building. The Brookside Inn is at 200 E. El Camino Real and its
number is 415-969-8200. The Ambassador Inn is at 860 E. El Camino
Real and its phone number is 415-940-1000.

To reserve a place in one of the classes, please send a check or
purchase order in the appropriate amount payable to
IntelliGenetics/BIONET. The address is:

			BIONET
			c/o IntelliGenetics
			700 E. El Camino Real
			Mountain View, CA 94040

BIONET will probably hold one training on the east coast and one in
the mid-west during mid-to-late 1988, but a precise schedule has not
yet been determined. These trainings will be announced far in
advance, but the number of people that will be accomodated at these
sessions will be limited. Thus we encourage you to sign up for the
in-house trainings now if you possibly can. Last year virtually every
in-house session was full.

To those of you who decide to attend the Mountain View sessions, we
look forward to meeting you in person and helping you to improve your
understanding and use of the BIONET resource.

This message may be displayed again by typing HELP TRAININGS after the
