[bionet.general] Please introduce your lab to the International Community!

Kristofferson@BIONET-20.BIO.NET (David Kristofferson) (07/15/88)

Novus Ordo Seclorum!

The new BIOSCI bboard network appears to be functioning properly at
redistribution nodes in the U.S., U.K., and Sweden now. Thus I renew
my earlier request for scientists around the world to send in a short
note describing their lab's research interests to the RESEARCH-NEWS
bulletin board. One can now post a note to RESEARCH-NEWS by sending to
any of the following addresses in a variety of locations. The BIOSCI
network will automatically redistribute your message to all other
participating sites.

Location	Network you use Address
--------	--------------- ----------------------------
Europe EARN research@semax51
Europe Internet research-news@bmc1.bmc.uu.se
Europe JANET (in U.K.) research@uk.ac.daresbury

Americas	Arpanet/Internet	research-news@bionet-20.arpa
Americas	BITNET research@bionet-20.arpa (temp.)

(NOTE: UMDC on BITNET will join soon in the U.S. BITNET users can
also access BIOSCI messages via the UMDC server. Further info is
available by mailing to biosci@umdc.bitnet.)

Users in locations other than those listed above may access the
bulletin board network by mailing to any accessible node.

The complete list of BIOSCI bboards is given below. Please note that
messages may be posted to any of these bboards in the manner used for
RESEARCH-NEWS above. Simply replace the name RESEARCH-NEWS (Internet)
or RESEARCH (BITNET, JANET, EARN) with the appropriate name from the
list below.

Information about receiving BIOSCI bulletins at your local computing
center or to individuals may be obtained by mailing to the BIOSCI
address at any of the nodes:

	biosci@bmc1.bmc.uu.se (Sweden)
	biosci@uk.ac.daresbury (U.K.)
	biosci@bionet-20.arpa (U.S.)
	biosci@umdc.bitnet (U.S.)

				David Kristofferson, Ph.D.
