"AGEING" Bulletin-Board

An electronic mail discussion and announcement
Bulletin-Board
for
"AGEING"
studies.

An electronic Bulletin-Board has now been established with the
kind assistance of the Managers of BIOSCI.
This facility will be available to all users connected to the
BIOSCI networks. People can make arrangements to subscribe to the
Bulletin-Board by sending a request to one of the following:

biosci%bmc1.bmc.uu.se Sweden
biosci%irlearn.ucd.ie Ireland
biosci%uk.ac.daresbury Britain
Users on BIONET itself simply look at the AGEING Bulletin-Board
and do not need to make special requests to subscribe. For EARN users
LISTSERV service is available from irlearn.ucd.ie .
Users can post mail to the AGEING Bulletin-Board at any of the
following locations:

Mail posted to any of these addresses is automatically forwarded
to all the other participants.
The purposes of this Bulletin-Board and the provisional
sub-divisions are:
1. Official notices from
(i)The U.S.A. National Institute of Ageing;
(ii)the EURAGE (this is an embryonic West European
organisation for collaborative ageing research sponsored by the EEC);
regarding funding, meetings, publications, etc.,
2. Announcments of meetings relevant to the scientific interests
of the group,
3. Organism ageing; biomarkers, nucleic acid probes and antibody
availability, methods, materials, etc.,
4. Cell ageing; abstracts, methods, reagents, materials, etc.
Initially, I shall be the Manager of this Bulletin Board until a
satisfactory permanent arrangment is made.
I hope that this new facility proves helpful; but this depends
entirely on you utilising it for your needs.
